Instead of Wedding rings couple bites fingers off!

Here's the answer to the question... Why don't we do something instead of wedding rings? Wedding bands are easily removed and can get lost. How can you have permanent wedding bands? Tattoos and branding are great alternatives to the traditional wedding band, but let's face it they are kind of LAME.

Here comes a couple named Clive and Jillian who have solved that problem in a way that will make you say.... "Now WHY didn't I think of that?"

CHEW EACH OTHER'S FINGER OFF!!!!

I know, right? That is so obvious, why didn't you think of that?

Completely DIY and really inexpensive this can go with any theme you have chosen for your wedding. The instructions for chewing off each other's finger goes like this.

1. If you want to do this that is a huge step 1.

2. Tell all of your friends & family your plan. Those who oppose are not your REAL friends anyway. Less catering the better!!

3. Gather the friend (s) who can be available to video the event. If you are left with no friends try Craigslist or your local library to find someone who will witness your biting bliss.

4. Sit across from your bride/groom to be....
Chomp.

You might want to freeze your hand or use a numbing creme on your finger..... but that doesn't sound like love to me.

Alcohol is a better choice since it is expected at a chomper wedding.

Really? This happened?
I love weddings! I have to stop writing this now.

Is this gross or OK?

What do you think?

Wedding Caligraphy

Wedding planning can be an exhausting ordeal. The most important day in your life needs everything planned to the last detail. The wedding invitations or even the "save the date" notices can be as fancy and important as your upcoming day. These "little" details make a big difference in the overall appearance of your wedding. If you are planning a lavish affair then you should make everything in the same vein. You wouldn't buy a new outfit and not take a shower, right? Then you shouldn't leave these little details out when planning your wedding.

Does using a calligrapher for your wedding REALLY make a difference?

Yes.

I have seen many different weddings and I can say that people DO NOTICE these little details of your wedding and will rave. Sometimes they comment on the tacky decor too. Having a professional tend to the details of your wedding assures that every detail is taken care of so you can relax with your day. You have a venue so you can accommodate guest and no one is burdened with the responsibility of "working" as your guest. There are many professional wedding calligraphers that produce beautiful work. The invitations, envelopes, place cards, even special poems about your day that are wonderful keepsakes.

Calligraphy is an art. A time consuming art. If you are planning the wedding within a large budget seeking these talented individuals will be worth your precious time.

"in this economy" -- Planning a wedding "in this economy" can be rough. I have found some calligraphy blogs and DIY calligraphy advice here.
